My name is Emilien, I am 18 years old and I live in Switzerland, in the canton of Vaud.
Passionate about motorsport, I started competitive karting in May 2024.
Since then, I have continued my progress with determination in the Swiss championship, within my DEL Motorsport team.
I currently race in KZ2, one of the most demanding karting categories: a 125cc kart with a 6-speed gearbox, developing around 50 horsepower, capable of reaching nearly 150 km/h.
This discipline requires precision, physical commitment, technical mastery and a great capacity for analysis.
Alongside my racing career, I am also a coach at the Rohrbasser Driving School, where I support drivers competing at the highest national level.
This role allows me to pass on my experience, to analyze driving in detail and to help some of the best Swiss drivers to progress, whether it be on trajectory, braking, race management or mental preparation.
Currently studying economics and law at the Morges gymnasium, I am juggling my studies, my sports career and my coaching activity with the same ambition: to continue to progress, perform, and contribute to the development of karting in Switzerland.
Before karting
My story
I played football for 10 years, starting with FC Echichens. After 5 years in this club, I was selected to join a regional team called Foot Région Morges (FRM), where I was able to develop and progress in this team for 5 years.
In 2023, I had the opportunity to do rental karting more frequently and I was immediately passionate about the speed, adrenaline and precision required for driving.
I then started taking lessons with a coach, multiple Swiss champion Nicolas Rohrbasser, who suggested I move up to the competitive level with the Spirit Karting team. I thus left my football team to devote myself fully to karting.
