Presentation
My name is Emilien, I am 17 years old and I live in Switzerland in the canton of Vaud.
I am studying economics and law at the Morges high school and I started competitive karting in May 2024.
I race in the Vega Trofeo and the Swiss championship, with my team: Spirit Karting.
My category is the X-30 SENIOR (125 cm3, 30 HP engine, top speed at ~125 km/h).
Before karting
My story
I played football for 10 years, starting with FC Echichens. After 5 years in this club, I was selected to join a regional team called Foot Région Morges (FRM), where I was able to develop and progress in this team for 5 years.
In 2023, I had the opportunity to do rental karting more frequently and I was immediately passionate about the speed, adrenaline and precision required for driving.
I then started taking lessons with a coach, multiple Swiss champion Nicolas Rohrbasser, who suggested I move up to the competitive level with the Spirit Karting team. I thus left my football team to devote myself fully to karting.
